The entrepreneurship and innovation department of the Croatian chamber of commerce aims to bring together businesses, the chamber of commerce and the government to promote the economy and entrepreneurship. It represents the interests of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), cooperates with educational institutions to organise appropriate training for entrepreneurs, and defines measures to improve the entrepreneurial climate in Croatia.
The main reason to found in the fall of 2014 the sssociation of independent retailers in the framework of the "Drogerie Union" was to increase the operational efficiency of the members, which in turn will improve the quality of the product offers to customers. Responding to modern trends in retail from 2016 "Drogerie Union" ("drogerie" — non-food consumer goods) develops the direction of STM that allows to expand the range and to improve commercial conditions for participants. The direction of foreign economic activity is also actively expanding.
